Author Submissions - 2010
Our mission: To celebrate the joy of reading and books.
How to be considered (pleas ecomplete all steps):
Requirements:
- All participants are expected to be available to sign books from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with breaks.
- Some participants will also be invited to do readings or to be part of a panel discussion.
Step 1-3: Submit Application and Image Electronically:
- Complete electronic submission form, then
- Submit head shot /publicity photo (jpg, gif, or tff, required)
- E-mail relevant reviews or press releases
Step 4: Send to Books By the Banks:
- Printed copy of email confirmation
- One copy of the book to be featured

All materials become the property of the festival committee and cannot be returned.
How are authors selected to participate?
- The Books by the Banks author selection team is comprised of book and media professionals in the Cincinnati area. The goal of the team is to create a festival with a balance of genres, audience age ranges, and interests.
- Selected books must be available through Joseph-Beth Booksellers regular distribution procedures. Self-published books are rarely considered and books of poetry will not be included at this time.
- The selection team will review the submissions and extend invitations to participate as selections are made. Submissions will be accepted through June 15, 2010 and invitations to participate will be sent by July 15, 2010.
