Her work has been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered, as well as in The New York Times and the Washington Post.

Carla comes by her taste for whiskey honestly: Her grandmother worked the bottling line at Seagram’s in Louisville, Kentucky, in the late 1930s, and her grandfather grew his own mint for his yearly Derby Day julep. Her personal bourbon collection recently topped 100 bottles. Carla lives in Louisville.
