| Drawing pictures that tell stories is something Tim Bowers has done since his childhood. With a colorful imagination and playful sense of humor, he pursued a career in illustration. Tim received his BFA degree from the Columbus College of Art & Design and worked in advertising before moving to Kansas City as a new recruit of Hallmark cards. He worked with various humor groups at the company and was chosen to help launch the Shoebox Greetings card line. After five years with Hallmark, Bowers moved back to Ohio to focus on children's book illustration. Since then, Tim Bowers has illustrated nearly thirty books and has received numerous state and national awards. |
