| Maggie Green, a nutritionist and chef is the owner of The Green Apron Company. The Green Apron Company provides culinary and nutrition services to corporate and personal clients. Clients include Simon and Schuster, Inc. Scribner, Joy of Cooking Trust, www.thejoykitchen.com, B. Smith, Dr. Janet Brill, Humana Active Outlook Program, Western Southern Life, Izzy’s, and Kremer’s Market. Maggie worked as an editor on the 75th Anniversary edition of the Joy of Cooking, The Ultrametabolism Cookbook (2006 Scribner), and BakeWise (2008 Scribner) a 2009 James Beard award winner in the baking category. Maggie is also a member of the Northlich Food Advisory Panel and the medical advisory board for the Humana Active Outlook Program. For 6 years Maggie has written a monthly food column From My Kitchen Table for Inside Your Town, a Northern Kentucky community newspaper and she has a blog by the same name. Maggie does cookbook editing, food writing, recipe development, recipe testing. Her personal chef clients have included athletes from the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds. She has appeared on TV Food Network’s Unwrapped, The Diane Rehm Show, and WNKU’s Speaking Frankly radio program and featured in articles in the Cincinnati Enquirer and St. Louis Dispatch. Maggie holds a B.S. degree in Food and Nutrition from The University of Kentucky and a degree in Culinary Arts Management from Sullivan College’s National Center for Hospitality Studies. Nationwide she is one of approximately 100 certified members of The American Culinary Federation who are also Registered Dietitians. Maggie is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, The American Dietetic Association and The American Culinary Federation. She is licensed as a Registered Dietitian in Kentucky and Ohio. |
