Meet authors! Enjoy cocktails! Celebrate the revival of vinyl! Could there be a better way to enjoy an evening in Cincinnati? We didn’t think so.
That’s why we at Books By The Banks : Cincinnati Regional Book Festival have partnered with Joseph Beth Cincinnati and Shake It Records to celebrate the release of the book “Booze & Vinyl: a Spirited Guide to Great Music and Mixed Drinks” at Second Place, 3936 Spring Grove Avenue, 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26.
Meet siblings/authors Andre and Tenaya Darlington who will explain their clever pairings of just the right cocktail with the perfect vinyl sound for every mood imaginable. They will sign copies of their book, described by their publisher as “the ultimate listening party guide.” So get a copy and learn how to pair your mood with just the right adult beverage and classic vinyl sound from the 1950s through the 2000s! “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Purple Rain,” “Hotel California” and more are sure to provide the perfect background for any mood you’re in.
A portion of the book sales will benefit Books by the Banks.
