Hallie Bateman is a writer and illustrator based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her work has appeared in the New Yorker, the New York Times, Buzzfeed and many others. She is the author of four books and the illustrator of several others, including her first children's book, Eggasaurus. Her next book, What To Do When You Get Dumped, was co-authored with Suzy Hopkins and comes out in January 2024.
