Shannon Stocker authored such picture books as '23 ALA Schneider Family Book Award winner, Cybils Award finalist, & Anna Dewdney Read Aloud Award finalist, LISTEN: HOW EVELYN GLENNIE, A DEAF GIRL, CHANGED PERCUSSION, CAN U SAVE THE DAY, and WARRIOR. Shannon's also a frequent contributor to the Chicken Soup series. In her spare time, she's a fierce advocate for those with disabilities, including her son (ADHD) and her daughter (brain cancer).
