Kim Wickens grew up in Dallas, Texas, and law for twenty years. She studied writing at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, and has devoted the last several years to researching and writing about the racehorse LEXINGTON. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post and Narrative Magazine. She lives in Georgetown, Kentucky, with her husband, son, and three horses.
