Deb Pilutti writes and illustrates books for children with humor and candor. She feels lucky to have a job where reading, playing with toys and watching cartoons is considered “research.” She is the award-winning creator of many books for children, including Old Rock (is not boring), which won the Giverny Award, and was a Kirkus Reviews and Parents Magazine best book of the year. Deb lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her husband, Tom, and Australian Shepard, Tater. She enjoys hiking, camping, reading and hanging out with friends and family.
