Scott is a graduate of the Ohio State University and has his MA in American History from Cleveland State University. He is the author of seven books on Cleveland Baseball history, his latest is a biography of Kentucky born Ray Chapman, titled "Love and Loss: The Short Life of Ray Chapman." Scott has appeared on many radio and television programs and has been featured on several documentary films.
