Michael C. Peterson is an assistant professor and Curator of the Elliston Poetry Collection and Audio Archive at the University of Cincinnati, where Tom Postell’s papers newly reside. A recipient of fellowships from MacDowell, Yaddo, Kenyon Writers’ Workshop, and Vermont Studio Center, his poems appear in journals such as Fence, Boston Review Online, Southern Review, Blackbird, Gulf Coast, New American Writing, and elsewhere. His work has been anthologized in Of Rivers: Poets Respond to Langston Hughes and They Said: A Multi-Genre Anthology of Contemporary Collaborative Writing.
