BBTB 2025 COVER ART CONTEST
Calling All Teen Artists! Last year, Books by the Banks created its first print compilation comprised of the winning entries of its annual Writing Contest. This year we’re launching a new contest for local teen artists, to create the cover art of this year’s compilation.
The theme is Community. You are encouraged to interpret this theme as literally or figuratively as you desire. Final judges for the Books by the Banks art competition will be distinguished local artists. Prizes will be awarded in-person at Books by the Banks and all winning entries will be shared in a print compilation at the festival.
Contest Rules:
- Participants must be residents of Indiana,
Kentucky or Ohio. - Participants may submit only one entry.
- All entries must be uploaded by Monday,
September 29, 2025. - Submitted work must be original.
- Entries generated in any part through the use of
artificial intelligence programs (AI) will be
disqualified. - To ensure anonymous judging, remove all
identifying information. - Participants must be between 13 and 18 years
old by November 15, 2025.
