Kirbi Fagan
As a kid, Kirbi thrived dancing and singing onstage. When arthritis began to hold her back, she turned in her ballet slippers for a new kind of art. Her love for drawing and crafts led her to art school where she trained as an oil painter. She’s the illustrator of the New York Times bestselling novel, A Horse Named Sky as well as the picture book Summer of the Tree Army. Her first author/illustrator picture book to come will be published by Lerner. She and her husband live in Milford, Michigan, where they practice sustainable gardening on their small homestead.
