Brent Coleman was a newspaper writer/editor for 37 years, 26 with The Cincinnati Enquirer. Thirty of his fun and diverse history articles -- all oldies but goodies -- he wrote for WCPO.com and are the basis of his “Cincinnati Characters: The Unknown, Unappreciated, and Unhinged." Cincinnatian, C.F. Payne’s illustrations have appeared in major magazines -- Time, MAD, Sports Illustrated etc. -- and 20 children’s books. A Miami University graduate, he directs the MFA in Illustration Program at Hartford Art School. The "modern day Norman Rockwell" is in the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame.
