Rebecca Sheir is the author of the Circle Round book series, adapted from the award-winning children's podcast distributed by Boston's NPR station. She has also brought thousands of stories to life as a public-radio host and reporter on such shows as Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Here & Now, The Splendid Table, and Marketplace. She lives in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts with her husband -- Circle Round's composer/sound designer (and fellow Ohio native!), Eric Shimelonis -- and their 7-year-old son.
