Yukiko Ryburn is from northern Japan and has been a resident of Miamisburg Ohio since 2012. She published her 1st English Japanese bilingual children's book “Momoka and the Cherry Tree” in 2014. Her 2nd book “The Little Kokeshi “was published in 2021 and featured by Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library 2024 summer event. In 2021, She received the Excellence Award of the 7th Picture Book for the Japanese story category sponsored by Mirai Publishing Co., Ltd. in Japan. She is a Volunteer and project initiator of “The Kokeshi Dolls: Japan’s Living Tradition,” the Japanese cultural event.
